One More Beautiful And Sunny Day Before A Wintry Mess This Weekend
YOUR FORECAST FOR TODAY: We are going to enjoy a beautiful, sunny, and mild Friday today before a wintry mess of rain, snow, and gusty winds arrives this weekend. That being said, enjoy today’s sunshine and above average temperatures with an afternoon high topping out near 46° before the weekend system arrives.
TONIGHT: We will see increasing clouds ahead of the weekend system tonight with mostly cloudy skies expected and an overnight low near 32°.
TOMORROW: Overcast skies will rain showers will start off our Saturday, but as colder air begins to mix in during the afternoon we will see snow begin to mix in with the rain at times. Some areas of Northwest Wisconsin could pick up around an inch of rain throughout the storm and may lead to some minor flood concerns. Temperatures will struggle to reach a high near 42° with very strong and gusty Northeast winds gusting up to 35 mph.
Our strong Spring storm system looks to bring enough cold air in Saturday night to switch things over to mostly snow and some may be a heavy at times. A Winter Storm Watch is active for much of the region from 4AM Saturday through 10AM Sunday where localized areas of 3-6” of wet snow is possible. Anything that falls will melt quickly with temperatures near 50° by Monday.
SUNDAY: Steady snow and gusty winds tapering off in the afternoon with a high near 43°.
MONDAY: Nice and mild with sunshine and a high near 50°.
TUESDAY: Plenty of sunshine and a high near 48°.
WEDNESDAY: A mix of clouds and sunshine along with a high near 45°.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies with a stray shower possible with a high near 43°.
