WITC donates PPE supplies to Douglas County emergency workers

WITC-Superior is donating Personal Protective Equipment to Douglas County emergency responders and law enforcement. 


On Wednesday, they packed boxes of masks, safety goggles, protective gowns, sanitizer wipes and more. The supplies were meant to be used for WITC's healthcare programs like nursing.

When classes were moved online, WITC decided health workers needed the gear more. 

Douglas County Emergency Planner and Risk Manager Dave Sletten said most will go to public health, law enforcement and the Superior Fire Department. Another batch will go to the hospital and other fire departments.
