UMD's Perunovich Going Pro

University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) junior defenseman Scott Perunovich has reportedly agreed to terms with the St. Louis Blues.


He has reportedly agreed to two contract options. One requires the NHL to resume this season and one that would begin in the 2020-2021 season.

Perunovich was named the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) Player of the Year, was named the conference's Offensive Defenseman, earned the co-honor of the the Three Stars Award, and was named a finalist for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award.

He will find out if he's one of three finalist up for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award on Thursday, April 2.

Perunovich finished tied for 10th in the nation in scoring, ranking second among defenseman with 6 goals, 34 assists in 34 games.

The Hibbing, Minn. native dressed in 115 regular-season games with the Bulldogs tallying 105 points.
