Northwestern advances to section finals, Northwood falls to Turtle Lake

Continuing their streak of upsets, the Tigers upset Aquinas in the WIAA D3 sectional semifinals winning by a final score 80-52. Cole Lahti led Northwestern with 15 points, while Monte Mayberry added 14.

Northwestern will take on top-seeded St. Croix Central in the section finals.

In the WIAA D5 sectional semifinals, Northwood fell to Turtle Lake by a final score of 54-49. The Evergreens finish the season with a 14-5 overall record.
