The third seeded Northwestern boys basketball team upset top-seeded Cameron 78-68 on the road Saturday to claim the Division 3 regional title.
CJ Thompson led the Tigers with 21 points while Monte Mayberry tallied a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
They'll advance to the sectional semifinals for the first time since the 2018-2019 season.
Northwestern defeated Cameron Saturday to claim the Division 3 regional title.
Brackets and pairings are expected to be released on Sunday.
