Clifford Hinkens of Coon Rapids, Minn. was reportedly driving when the tractor-trailer went off the road, hit the ditch line and a driveway, causing the semi to overturn. It landed on its roof in the eastbound lane of Hwy 70.

Hinkens died from his injuries. He was the only one in the truck.

Sawyer County EMS, Loretta/Draper Fire, Winter Fire, the Wisconsin State Patrol and Wisconsin DNR all responded.
