MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico is trying to sell its luxurious presidential jet to Canada, but will raffle off the plane if the Canadians don't want it.

It is the latest chapter in a desperate effort to unload the large and lavish Boeing 787 Dreamliner that Mexico's president views as wasteful.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said Tuesday that the plane bought by his predecessor is larger and better than Primer Minister Justin Trudeau's current jet.

If that doesn't pan out, a raffle is the next plan. Some Mexicans say they wouldn't want to win it, and even López Obrador says he worries greed or envy could ruin the winner's life.
