Shamrock Shakes Raising Money for Ronald McDonald Charities

Shamrock Shakes are back at McDonald's and from March 6 through March 17, they're helping raise money for the Ronald McDonald Charities.

From each Shamrock Shake sold, 25 cents will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

"That helps families who are being treated in the hospital," Ashley Burger, a local McDonald's manager said.  "They get lodging, food, and it helps them with a room to escape and relax."

Burger said this year is very busy with calls for people wondering when the shakes will be coming back.

If you don't like Shamrock Shakes, you can still help the cause by donating through their donation boxes at the restaurants.  You can also round up your order to the next dollar and the extra money goes to RMHC or you can bring in pop tabs.

"It's just a good way to give back and help people," Burger said.

The fundriaser with the Shamrock Shakes is going on until March 17th at participating McDonald's.
