A night of craft beer and wine tasting is happening next week to raise money for different causes.  The Rotary Club of Superior is hosting this event for the eighth year on Tuesday, February 18.

"Keyport Liquor will be providing all the samples, we'll also have a cash bar for people who aren't beer and wine drinkers and want something a little different," Megan Meyer, a co-chair for the event, said.  "Plenty of hors d'oeuvres by Chartwells right at UW-Superior, which is fantastic."

There will also be a silent auction, raffle, dessert auction, live auction, and more.

Meyer said each year the club picks different organizations to support.  The event will support the WITC Dreamkeepers Fund, Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank, and Rotary International Projects this year.

Tickets are $30 and you can get them from a local rotarian or buy them at this link.  The Craft Beer and Wine Night is on Friday, February 18 at 5 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union at UW-Superior.

To enter the special GMN Giveaway, head to our Facebook page, comment your name on the post about the event, and a winner will be announced on Wednesday, February 12 during our 6:30 a.m. half hour of GMN.  We'll announce two winners, each getting a pair of tickets.
