Grandma's Marathon is less than four months away, to it's time for Gearing Up for Grandma's.  It's happening on Saturday, February 29 at Grandma's Sports Garden.

This is a different location than the past, but Mandi Peterson with Grandma's said it's a similar format.  She said it's an event for all abilities.

"It starts Saturday at 8 a.m., we'll have a group run," Peterson said. "Followed by a breakfast, all complimentary, and then we'll have a Grandma's Tech Merchandise sale as well."

After that, there will be different breakouts with professionals and runners get to pick which ones they want to go to.

New this year is a viewing party for the U.S. Marathon Olympic trials.

"It's going to be a very large group of Americans competing for their spot at the Olympics, including some of our former champions," Peterson said.

The first race of the season, the Saint Fennessy 4K, is coming up on March 14th.  There will be a new course and a different ending venue.  It will finish at the Skyline Social and Games.
