Max is a black American shelter dog who is four years old.

Animal Allies said he came to them as a transfer from a different shelter and is looking for a new loving home.

Max is a little bit timid and shy, so he's looking for someone who will go slow and give him time to open up to new people.  Once he does, he'll melt your heart with love and kisses!

If you're interested in taking Max home, they are still doing adoptions but they are curbside, non-contact.  This means if you're serious about adopting a specific animal, call ahead and schedule an appointment.

This process takes about an hour.  Animal Allis said this is to keep you and the staff safe during the Governor's "Stay at Home" order.

Their hours have changed and are now 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  For more information, visit their website.
