Cars carrying seniors drove around the school where students were able to pick up their diplomas.

Many of the cars were decorated in ribbons, balloons and pictures. And—school officials decorated the parade route as they would an auditorium.

Superintendent of Esko Public Schools Aaron Fischer said it was important for students to feel special.

"This year, our seniors and all kids have been through one of the most difficult years I’ve seen and what we’re trying to do tonight is recognize that its been an unprecedented year,” Fischer said. "We’ve come out here and decorated. You can just tell there’s a lot of love in the air tonight from the staff and the parents and the kids and we’re just really proud of our community and proud of our kids.”

Over 80 seniors graduated Friday.
